








Between Monts du Cantal and Aubrac, Chaudes-Aigues, the only spa resort in Cantal, has the warmest natural waters of Europe. The most famous being the source of the Par and its 82°C. A curiosity that made the city famous.
Description
The history of the city is intimately linked to its thermal attractions. No less than 32 sources spring up. The geothermal system is ancient. It dates from 1332 and 40 houses are heated as well.
The «Geothermia» museum tells you the history of Chaudes-Aigues, the use of hot water and geothermal energy in Europe.
The Caleden Spa Centre offers thermal treatments as well as thermoludic, wellness and full-health services.
To do: the tour of Par en Par to discover the city, with its playful version for children. Guided tours organized by the Geothermia Museum are also recommended.
The thermoludic centre in Caleden welcomes families, including children at the age of 9 months.
