Panoramic view point on the Truyère gorges ant the Sarrans lake

Beautful site overlooking the Truyère Gorges. The rock face is adorned with milky rose quartz veins.
Until the Hundred Years War a castle crowned this rock but it was distroyed by the Englishmen coming from Aquitaine.
The roman castle chapel is the last vestige of this period.
ATTENTION: The chapel is being renovated in 2022 and closed for visits.
Visits in 2023: every Wednesday and Sunday in July and August from 3pm to 6 pm. Thank you for a little donation for the chapel renovation.
